We stayed in the Red Queen room for two nights last week. It was a simple, elegant, very romantic room. The shower with the stone floor and the rain shower head was big and cool. The location is very convenient to walking into a nice, interesting, and varied downtown for meals. On the second night, after a day of touring the area, we came back to a Jazz trio playing in the bar for a crowd with a nice vibe. We hit the bar a couple of times and found the bartenders helpful, skilled, and knowledgeable. Breakfast was simple and delicious.…Anonymous, bedandbreakfast.com
There’s nothing like this place in Ithaca. The inn is beautifully restored, and the staff are amazingly hospitable and friendly. All of the rooms have a charming sense of refinement without coming across as too stuffy. I felt comfortable and welcome during my whole stay.Daniel Ford, Google
Perfect. Classic. Refined yet comfortable. My wife and I made a last minute reservation via a Google search while we were passing through Ithaca. We were given the Peacock Room and were offered a discount for a same day booking. On arrival we entered to find a lovingly restored, beautifully decorated inn with a friendly accommodating staff. We peeked into the bar (unexpected) and were shown to our room. The room was to the rear of the building down a private corridor. Another beautifully decorated room with gorgeous chair rail molding and crown molding. A very comfortable bed, excellent climate…Paul Lagas, Google
My husband and I stayed here last week and loved it. The beds were so comfortable and had really nice bedding – I wish I could sleep in it every day! The inn is beautiful and has a cool bar downstairs that makes excellent cocktails. I would absolutely recommend this place to people looking for a better experience than the usual chain hotel brands can offer.Caroline R, Trip Advisor
I stayed at Argos Inn when I was visiting Ithaca for a wedding and I wish I could have stayed there longer. I loved everything about this place. The decor, the attention to every small detail and especially the wonderful customer service.
The decor is a tasteful mix of vintage and modern. The bed was very comfortable. The service was friendly and attentive. And the breakfast spread was delicious.
One of the things that really impressed me was getting an email after I had checked out to let me know that I had left a few things in the room and they offered to mail my belongings (for free!).
I highly recommend Argos Inn for anyone looking for a place to stay in Ithaca.Eliza S, Yelp
